【Technical knowledge】What is an outdoor communication cabinet

(1) Definition of outdoor communication cabinet

Outdoor communication cabinet is a kind of outdoor cabinet, which refers to the cabinet made of metal or non-metal materials directly under the influence of natural climate, and does not allow unauthorized operators to enter and operate. It provides wireless communication stations or wired network station workstations. Equipment for outdoor physical work environments and safety systems.

It is suitable for cabinets installed in outdoor environments, such as roadsides, parks, roofs, mountainous areas, and flat ground. Base station equipment, power supply equipment, batteries, temperature control equipment, transmission equipment and other supporting equipment can be installed in the cabinet or reserved for the above equipment The space and heat exchange capacity can provide reliable mechanical and environmental protection cabinets for the normal operation of internal equipment.

(2) Materials used:

The boards used to manufacture the exterior of the cabinet body are hot-dip galvanized sheets with a thickness greater than or equal to 1.5mm. After welding, the hot-dip galvanized sheets must be sprayed with outdoor powder. The temperature control device is a heat-dissipating cabinet body adopts hot-dip galvanized sheet as the plate, and the temperature control device is a cooling type cabinet body adopts a structure greater than or equal to 1.5mm hot-dip galvanized plate plus 10mm thermal insulation cotton.

The base of the cabinet is made of cold-rolled steel plate with a thickness of not less than 2mm, and the surface is treated by hot-dip galvanizing after welding.

Metal materials used for cabinets should have the ability to resist corrosion and electrochemical reactions, with or without surface treatment.

Non-metallic parts (including insulated wires, cables and foam materials) should be flame-retardant materials, and their flammability should be able to pass the requirements of the flame-retardant test.

(3) Manufacturing process:

Appearance: The surface of the coating should be continuous and uniform, and the texture should be consistent with the corresponding standard template, without nodules, shrinkage cavities, blisters, pinholes, cracks, peeling, powdering, particles, sags, exposed bottoms, and dirt inclusions and other defects.

For cabinets without spraying treatment, the gloss and texture of the outer surface should be uniform and beautiful.

Adhesion: After the adhesion test, the coating on the surface of the cabinet meets the requirements of level 1 in Table 1 of GB/T 9286-1998.

Impact resistance: After the impact resistance test, the coating on the surface of the cabinet has no defects such as radial cracks and gaps.

Anti-aging: The coating on the surface of the cabinet is anti-aging.
